OCS INTAKE 18 END OF GENERIC TERM DINNER NIGHT
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Friday 9 August 2019- Following the End of Generic Term Parade, the Officer Cadet School (OCS) of Intake 18 hosted their first formal dinner in conjunction with their end of Generic Term where it mimics the concepts of a Regimental Dinner as in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). The event took place at the Officer Cadet’s Mess Hall at about 1930 hours. Present as the Guest of Honor was the Acting Commanding Officer of OCS, 724 Major Muhammad Ghazali bin Haji Husin who was welcomed by the Acting Intake Commander, 823 Major (U) Awg Md Yusra bin Jafar. Also present were Officers of the School. The event began with the arrival of the Guest of Honor followed by a light refreshment prior to a photo session with the Guest of Honor at the Mess Hall 1 of the Officer Cadet’s Mess.

TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Friday 9 August 2019 - Today marked a new milestone for the Intake 18 of the Officer Cadet School (OCS) as the Parade for the end of Generic Term took place at the Parade Square of the Defence Academy, Tanah Jambu.
CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION OF THE PSYCHOLOGY OF LEADERSHIP COURSE
TANAH JAMBU, Friday 09 August 2019 – Leadership and Management Centre, Defence Academy RBAF had facilitated the Psychology of Leadership Course, which was delivered by Dr. Charlotte Riggs from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurt (RMAS) as an initiative of Exercise Dynamic Outreach RMAS through its International Policy Planning, UK with various partner countries including Brunei Darussalam.
SESKOAD TA 2019 VISITS DA RBAF
TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 07 August 2019 – The delegation from SESKOAD TA 2019 comprised of 59 personnel led by Major General Hartomo visited the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) as part of their 5-day working visit to Brunei Darussalam. Upon arrival at the DA RBAF Headquarters, Major General Hartomo was welcomed by the Commandant of the DA RBAF, Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, and other DA RBAF Senior Officers. The visit commenced with a Courtesy Call where both sides acknowledged the cordial relations between RBAF and the Indonesian National Armed Forces and discussed potential areas to explore to enhance the military-to-military bilateral cooperation particularly through trainings.
KULIAH SUBUH
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Friday 2 August 2019– The Kuliah Subuh for the month of August was held at Surau Asy-Syuhada this morning at the Defence Academy. Present as the Guest of Honour was the Chief Instructor, Lieutenant Colonel Pg. Mohammad Shamsul Reza bin DPS Hj Tengah. The attendees were mainly of RBAF DA Senior Officers, Officers, Personnel and also Officer Cadets from Intake 18 of Officer Cadet School. The lecture’s topic which entitled Pengorbanan Meraih Takwa was delivered by the invited speaker, Ustaz Abd Yussof bin Hj Majid. In conjuction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha, this month’s lecture was focusing more on sacrifices, takwa and piety.
THE COMMANDANT’S CHALLENGE
TUNGKU BEACH, Tuesday, 30 July 2019 – The Commandant’s Challenge for OCS Intake 18 started at the Tungku Beach at around 0001 hours, 31 July 2019. The Challenge covered a total distance of about 22 kilometeres which stretched from the shoreline of the Tungku Beach area to the finishing line at firing field area in Berakas Camp. The Commandant’s Challenge was one of the prestigious Challenges for the Officer Cadet School after The CO’s Challenge which was held earlier and The Commander’s Challenge which will be held tentatively during the final term of the OCS course.
