PERMANENT SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE SINGAPORE AND DELEGATES VISIT TO DEFENCE ACADEMY, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 25 June 2019 – His Excellency Mr. Chan Yeng Kit, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence Singapore and Delegates had the opportunity to visit the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in Kampong Tanah Jambu today. Upon arrival at the Ceremonial Hall, His Excellency Mr. Chan Yeng Kit was welcomed by Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commandant of Defence Academy RBAF and RBAF officers.
CERAMAH PERINTAH AM KDYMM BAGI MENGAWAL DAN MEMBENTERAS PENYALAHGUNAAN DADAH DI DALAM ABDB
Tanah Jambu Jumaat 21 Jun 2019 – Satu ceramah dibuat tentang Perintah Am KDYMM bagi mengawal dan membenteras penyalahgunaan dadah di dalam ABDB kepada peserta-peserta Kursus Maktab Turus Akademi Pertahanan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (AP ABDB) sesi 09/2019. Ceramah tersebut disampaikan oleh Mejar Isewandy bin Murni, Ketua Pegawai Kaunseling ABDB. Ceramah sebegini adalah julung-julung kalinya diperkenalkan dalam Kursus Maktab Turus.
CO CHALLENGE
TANJUNG BATU, Thursday, 20 June 2019 – The Officer Cadet School (OCS) Commanding Officer’s (CO’s) Challenge took place yesterday morning. The event was officially launched with the deployment of the first group of Officer Cadets at around 0600 hours to Tanjung Batu which stretched along the shoreline of Meragang Beach. The last Section to end the challenge was at 1900 hours in the OCS compound. The CO’s Challenge is one of the iconic and prestigious challenges that usually took place in the Generic Term of the OCS Course. This will sequentially be followed by the Commandant’s Challenge and the Commander’s Challenge.

DEFENCE ACADEMY, Thursday, 6 June 2019 – This morning the melodious and melancholic Aidilfitri takbir resounded in the Defence Academy. The end of Ramadan means the beginning of Aidilfitri celebration – a day of victory for the Muslims following the completion of thirty days of performing fast. Aidilfiri is a day of celebration and victory for the Muslims for successfully embracing every precious opportunity in the holy month of Ramadan to increase good deeds and perform as many religious practices as we could in order to gain endless blessings and countless rewards from Allah SWT. Most importantly, all Muslims should take this opportune moment to thank Allah SWT for granting us all this rewarding month of celebration.
MELANCHOLIC AIDILFITRI TAKBIR RESOUNDS IN THE DEFENCE ACADEMY
DEFENCE ACADEMY, Wednesday, 5 June 2019 – Brunei Darussalam will be celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri tomorrow, Thursday, 6th June. In celebration of the arrival of Syawal, mosques and suraus across the nation resounded with the melodious and melancholic Raya takbir. Surau Asy-Syuhada was not an exception. Muslim personnel of Defence Academy were summoned to glorify the most victorious day of Allah SWT with the recital of takbir, tahmid and tasbih at the surau. Aidilfitri takbir symbolizes gratefulness and thankfulness towards the mighty Allah SWT for his blessings to the Muslim ummah.
