DEFENCE ACADEMY HOLDS 58th RBAF ANNIVERSARY THANKSGIVING CEREMONY
DEFENCE ACADEMY, Friday, 31 May 2019 – Today marks a special day for Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Held at the Surau Asy-Syuhada, Defence Academy, The Chief Instructor of Defence Academy, Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Mohd Shamsul Reza bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Tengah, this morning attended a thanksgiving ceremony as the Guest of Honour to commemorate the 58th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
KAMATHALI HABBAH PROJECT IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF’S 58th ANNIVERSARY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 30 May 2019 – Twenty-two retired personnel who previously served in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received donations from a charity drive collection called Kamathali Habbah Project. This project is part of the community service activities organised in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Force’s (RBAF) 58th Anniversary.
RBAF COMMANDER DELIVERS KEYNOTE ADDRESS TO CSC9
TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 28 May 2019 – Yang Mulia Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) delivered a keynote address on “The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Its Impact on the Armed Forces and Future Leadership” to the participants of the 9th Command and Staff Course (CSC 9) at the Command and Staff College, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) today.
SECOND MINISTER OF DEFENCE PERFORMED PRAYERS AT SURAU ASY-SYUHADA
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 24 May 2019 – The Minister of Defence II, the Honourable Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof made a mutual visit to Defence Academy’s Surau Asy-Syuhada to perform Isya’ prayer, sunat Tarawih followed by Tadarus Al-Qur’an ceremony. Congregants had the opportunity to perform the sunat Tarawih prayer led by students from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Quran Institue.
ISC 19-2019 CONCLUDES LOCAL STUDY TOUR
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 24 May 2019 – The Intermediate Staff Course 19/2019 concluded their four-day Brunei Vision 2035 study tour with a visit to the Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS) today at the RBTS Training Simulation Centre, Penanjong Garisson.
