TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 03 May 2021 – The Defence Academy of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a special religious talk at Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Kg. Tanah Jambu, in conjuction to Nuzul Al-Qur’an Celebration.Present at the event was the Acting Commandant, Lt Col (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present were Defence Academy Senior Officers, Officers, 11th Command and Staff College and participants, Intake 20 Officer Cadets and other military personnel.
The event began with the recital of Surah Fathir, verse 31-34 by Sgt Hj Md Yusri bin Hj Awg Yusof and followed by mass Zuhur Prayer. The event continued with a special religious talk delivered by Ustaz Haji Amynoor bin Haji Mohammad Yaakub, guest speaker from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) with the title of “Al-Quran Asas dan Pemangkin Pembangunan Negara”.
The event then concluded with presentation of memento to the guest speaker and mass recitation of Selawat.
