Tutong, Tuesday, 17 March 2021 – Course participants of the Command and Staff Course 11/2021 visited the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) at Tutong Camp today. The delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohamad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Haji Puasa, Senior Directing Staff of Command and Staff College, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The course participants were received at the
Blok Ilmu and briefed by Yang Mulia Brigadier General Hj Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of RBLF. In his brief on the Highly Capable and Adaptable Land Forces, Yang Mulia Brigadier General Hj Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan highlighted the significance of restructuring the Land Force to suit the contemporary operating environment. The Commander of RBLF also highlighted the foreseeable challenges faced by the RBLF in the near future, and the corresponding force development priorities of the RBLF to meet these challenges.
Following the briefing, the delegation visited a static display of the RBLF assets, which included a display of arms and equipment from the infantry battalion, drones from the communication cell of the RBLF HQ, Special Task Platoons equipment, Mortar Platoon, Medical and Dental Services, Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron, Combat Boat Squadron, Combat Engineer Squadron, Chemical Biological Radiology and Explosive Unit and demonstration of Bouncer from the Fire Department, Combat Service Support.
 
The visit was professionally beneficial for the course participants, and provided them with a clear understanding of the role, capabilities, and future prospects of the RBLF.
