TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 8 July 2021 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a promotion ceremony for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers and Other Ranks at the Ceremonial Hall, DA RBAF this morning.
Present as the Guest of Honour was the Acting Commandant of the DA RBAF, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Peter bin Ulat. Also, in attendance at the event were Senior Officers, Officers and other personnel of the DA RBAF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by DA RBAF JAMAAT and continued with the rank presentation. A total of 15 personnel of DA RBAF have been promoted; 1 personnel promoted to Sub-Sergeant, 2 personnel promoted to acting Sergeant, 3 personnel promoted to Sub-Corporal, 4 personnel promoted to acting Corporal, 2 personnel promoted to Sub-Lance Corporal and other 3 personnel promoted to acting Lance Corporal.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of closing prayer and a group photo session with the DA RBAF Acting Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and other personnel who have been promoted.
