TANAH JAMBU, DEFENCE ACADEMY, Monday, 22 November 2021 – Leadership and Management Centre,
Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (LMC DA RBAF) held its first online Tetra Element of Leadership Success today which was presented by Mr. Yap Pik Hwee Raymond from
Tetramap Excellence Consulting Pte Ltd, Republic of Singapore. The workshop was
attended by officers and senior ranks of DA RBAF.
The main aim of this workshop was to introduce the Tetra elements
to the participants as leaders and subordinates which should be useful in
helping them adapt to situations, and approach the varying personalities,
behavioural styles and communication patterns of the people around them
differently. Apart from that, the workshop also aims to increase the level of self-confidence
and ability of the participants in motivating and guiding a team.
The workshop started with an introduction on Tetra elements and
descriptions of each element’s behaviours and leadership styles. This was
followed by break-out sessions where the participants broke into smaller groups
for discussions and activities. The workshop ended with discussions as well as
question and answer session.
It is hoped that the workshop can provide some level of knowledge
and exposure to the officers and personnel of DA RBAF to help them improve
their leadership skills which will aid the organisation in achieving our
mission and vision.
