ACTING COMMANDANT DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES RECEIVES FAREWELL CALL FROM THE AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ADVISER TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

Tanah Jambu, 26 November 2021 - Lieutenant Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Acting Commandant of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) received a farewell call from Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hauser, Australian Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam today. Also, in attendance were Academic Advisor, Deputy Chief of Instructor, Adjutant and Academy Sergeant Major of DA RBAF.

During the call, Acting Commandant of DA RBAF took the opportunity to express his gratitude and appreciation to Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hauser for his contribution during his term as Defence Adviser especially with regards to the courses in the Defence Academy and presentation of the OBOE Endeavour Academic Excellence Awards. The Acting Commandant also wishes for continuous support and assistance for defence cooperation opportunities, particulary between the two nations’ defence academies, and looks forward to the positive development and active interactions in the future.

Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hauser was appointed as the Australian Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam in January 2020 and will continue his career endeavor in Australia.
