TANAH JAMBU, Saturday 16 September 2023 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held the opening ceremony of Dikir Maulud for 1445 Hijrah at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Tanah Jambu Camp.
Present at the ceremony was Deputy Commandant of DA RBAF, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also in attendance were DA RBAF senior officers, officers, personnel from DA RBAF and course participants from Command & Staff Course 13/2023, Intermediate Staff Course 23/2023 and Officer Cadets from Intake 22.
The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib prayer followed by the Dikir Maulud followed by a Tazkirah, the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Sirah Nabawiyah. The event continued with Dikir As-salammualaika, Dikir Bisyahrin, Dikirah Alhamudilillah followed by Isyak Prayer, selawat Badriyah, Dikir Dibaie and concluded with the Dikir Marhaban.
The Dikir Maulud will be held continuously for 12 nights at mosques and suraus throughout the country to commemorate the birth of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
