BRUNEI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Saturday, 30 November 2024 – The Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces proudly announces the departure of OBOE Academic Excellence Award 2024 recipients to participate in the esteemed programme to Australia especially to its defence forces. The Programme will be held from 01 December 2024 until 05 December 2024 . A send-off ceremony, attended by senior officers, officers, and family members, included a Doa Selamat recited by one of the delegate officers to bless their journey.
The delegation, comprising Five RBAF Military Personnels and One Civilian Personnel; they are 805 Major (U) Hj Ilhamdi binti Hj Mohd Dali, 854 Major (U) Dygku Nurazriana binti pg Hj Hassanan, 904 Major (U) Mohd Adi Faiz bin Hj Abu Bakar, 928 Lt Cdr Muhd Adib Izzuddin bin Hj Ramli, RBN, 929 Lt Cdr Mohd Shahrul Idham bin Hj Bungsu, RBN and Hj Mohd Hazwan bin Mohd Azani.
During the visit, the delegation will meet senior leaders of the Australian Defence Force, tour military bases, and participate in educational and cultural activities, fostering discussions on defence and security topics. The program aims to deepen understanding of Australia’s defence forces and shared security interests, while further strengthening the long-standing Brunei-Australia defence partnership.
