The Nigerian delegation was warmly received by the Acting Commandant of DA RBAF, Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Amirul Adli bin Haji Ali.

During the visit, the Head of Delegation and accompanying officers were briefed on the organisational structure of the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, key aspects of the 2021 Defence White Paper, regional security developments, and the RBAF’s approach to joint, inter-agency, and multinational operations. This was followed by a discussion during which both sides exchanged views and insights on broader national and global strategic security trends.

The programme featured a guided tour of the Command and Staff College and the Leadership and Management Centre, providing insights into DA RBAF’s education and training framework. A luncheon was hosted at the Defence Academy’s ceremonial hall, followed by a group photo session to commemorate the occasion.

Earlier engagements included a brisk walk at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, a cultural tour of Bandar Ku Ceria, Dermaga Diraja, and a visit to the Brunei Energy Hub. The delegation also visited the RBAF Museum as part of its broader geostrategic study tour aimed at enhancing understanding of Brunei’s defence and strategic landscape.
