DEFENCE ACADEMY HOSTED FAMILY DAY IN CONJUNCTION WITH DA RBAF 15TH ANNIVERSARY

TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 5 December 2025 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) celebrated its 15th Anniversary with a Family Day event held at the Parade Square, Defence Academy. The event was graced by the presence of Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Commandant of DA RBAF, as the Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were officers, permanent staff and Officer Cadets of DA RBAF, together with their invited family members.

The programme featured a variety of activities, including a photobooth, fun fair games organised by various Defence Academy departments, lucky draws, and mini treasure hunt, all aimed at strengthening bonds among families, officers, and staff.

The event commenced with the recitation of the opening doa, followed by a Zumba session led by the Physical Training Instructors (PTIs) of DA RBAF. Participants then gathered for a group photo session before taking part in a walkathon around the Defence Academy area. These activities provided a valuable opportunity for families to engage with Defence Academy personnel and gain greater insight into the Defence Academy’s programmes, particularly for the families of Defence Academy personnel and the Officer Cadets of Intake 24.

The celebration aimed to promote strong family values while fostering goodwill and camaraderie among the families of DA RBAF personnel. Through these meaningful interactions, the event also sought to contribute towards a healthier working environment and enhance the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of its personnel.
