OCS INTAKE 24 CERTIFICATE AND SWORD PRESENTATION

TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 16 January 2026 - A total of 50 newly commissioned officers of Intake 24 were formally presented with their certificates and swords for their successful completion of the commissioning course at the Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF).

Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present were senior officers, officers, and the newly appointed commissioned officers of intake 24. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-Anfal verses 45–46 by Lieutenant Ahmad Termizie bin Ahmad Baihakie.

The opening address was delivered by Major Abdul Qahhar bin Haji Abd. Mulok, Intake Commander of OCS Intake 24, who highlighted the achievements and progress of the cadets throughout their training at OCS. The certificate and sword presentation was followed by the prize presentation to the award winners and the newly commissioned international officers. The award winners are Lieutenant Nur Amanina binti Haji Ismail (Sword of Honour), Second Lieutenant Lim Jie En Jayden, Republic of Singapore Navy (Best Academic), Lieutenant (U) Awangku Muhammad Haziq Dzulfadhly Mubarak bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Amir Ilham (Best Military Skills), Lieutenant Junior Grade Mohammad Sufi Shayiran bin Roslan, RBN (Best Physical Fitness) and Second Lieutenant Ahmad Rizq Dzakwan bin Shariffudin, Malaysian Armed Forces (Best International Officer Cadet).

The Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces reaffirmed its commitment to developing officers with strong leadership, sound character, and high intellectual capacity. The successful completion of the commissioning course reflects the dedication, discipline, and professionalism demonstrated by Intake 24, ensuring that the newly commissioned officers are competent, confident, and ready to undertake their first appointments in service to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
