TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 15 January 2026 - The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a Special Congregational Sunat Hajat Prayer to seek blessings for the continued health and well- being of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di- Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The prayer was held at Surau As-Syuhada, DA RBAF. Present at the event was Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Commandant of DA RBAF along with senior officers, officers, course participants of Command and Staff Course 16 (CSC16) as well DA RBAF personnel.
The ceremony commenced with a mass Fardhu Maghrib and Sunat Hajat prayers, followed by the recitation of Surah Yasin and Doa Khas. The ceremony then concluded with a mass Fardhu Isya' prayer.
