NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF INTAKE 24 GRADUATION DINNER

TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 17 January 2026 - Following the Sovereign’s Parade of Officer Cadet School Intake 24, the newly commissioned officers celebrated the successful completion of their commissioning course with a Graduation Dinner held at the Ceremonial Hall, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF).

The dinner was graced by Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), as the Guest of Honour. Also present was the Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Yang Mulia Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Services Commanders of RBAF, the Defence Adviser of Malaysia, Yang Mulia Colonel Nor Azizi bin Abdullah, the Defence Adviser of Republic of Singapore, Yang Mulia Colonel Steven Ng Lai Khim, the Defence Attaché of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Yang Mulia Group Captain Woravit Pranet, Officers of DA RBAF and the newly commissioned officers of OCS Intake 24.

The evening commenced with welcoming drinks, recitation of doa and dinner, which were entertained by the RBAF band alongside the sound of bagpipes Tambour Platoon, RBLF as the symphonic diversion played by the combination of RBAF Band and RBLF. As part of the Graduation Dinner tradition, the recipient of the Sword of Honour delivered a speech reflecting on the experiences and challenges faced by the officers throughout their 48 weeks of training. She expressed sincere appreciation to the officers and instructors for their dedication, guidance, and unwavering commitment in developing the cadets into capable and professional officers of the RBAF.

The event concluded with the signing of the parchment by the Guest of Honour, followed by a group photo session to commemorate the memorable occasion.
