TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 26 February 2026 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held its first 1st Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony in conjunction with the Ihya Ramadhan 1447H Programme at Surau Asy-Syuhada.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, the Commanding Officer of the Officer Cadet School DA RBAF. Also in attendance were Senior Officers, Officers, personnel of DA RBAF and the Probationary Officer Cadets of Intake 25.
The ceremony began with the collective recitation of the
Khatam Al-Quran, followed by
Takhtim, Doa Khatam and Dikir Marhaban. The ceremony continued with the distribution of
bunga telur by the Guest of Honour to the participants of Khatam Al-Quran. The ceremony concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
