TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 20 February 2026 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT ABDB), organised the Jangkauan Dalam Ihya Ramadhan Programme at Surau Asy-Syuhada, DA RBAF.
The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II; Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of RBAF; Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence; Brigadier General (Udara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Commander of RBAF; the Joint Force Commander, RBAF; as well as senior Ministry of Defence and RBAF officials, DA RBAF Executive Committee, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of DA RBAF. Held in conjunction with the Friday Halaqah session, the programme began with the recitation of the Al-Quran, followed by a tazkirah delivered by Ustaz Haji Nasir Saufi bin Hassan. It concluded with Sunat prayers and selected recitations.
The programme aimed to encourage religious observance during Ramadhan and strengthen ties between the Ministry of Defence and DA RBAF personnel.
