TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 3 March 2021 - Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a Tadarus Al-Quran opening ceremony in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Diamond Jubilee Anniversary at Surau Asy-Syuhada', DA RBAF, Kampong Tanah Jambu.
Present at the ceremony was the Acting Commandant of the Defence Academy RBAF, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present were Defence Academy Senior Officers, Officers and other military personnels.
The ceremony started with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah. The ceremony then proceeded with the reading of Surah Al-Baqarah followed by Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam before the ceremony concluded with the mass Asar. The ceremony was also meant to instill the spirit of reciting and appreciating Al-Quran among personnel within the DA.
