THURSDAY, 21 March 2024 – In conjunction with RBAF 62nd Anniversary and Ramadhan 1445H, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces conducted a cleaning campaign at Sarai Pimping cemetery followed by Yasin & Tahlil for Allahyarham Lt Col Pg Md Shamsul Reza bin Pg DP Hj Tengah.
The campaign was held as part of the Community Outreach Programme, with the aim of enhancing spiritual development and contributing to the community, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Present at Sarai Pimping Muslim Cemetery was Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Haji Yusof, Commandant of DA RBAF. Also in attendance were DA RBAF Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of DA RBAF.
The Cemetery Cleaning Campaign is a significant initiative undertaken by DA RBAF to honor the memory of those who have departed and to show respect to their families. The program also aims to instill the values of community service and responsibility among the DA RBAF personnel and officer cadets.
