TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 22 March 2024 - By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adu Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, 56 probationary officer cadets have been appointed as officer cadets.
After a completion of 6 weeks of training, the officer cadets had gone through an intensive and stringent training to transit them to military lifestyle. The 56 officer cadets consisting of 39 males and 17 females. These includes one RBAF Scholarship recipients and one international officer cadets from Malaysia respectively as follows:
- 22362 Officer Cadet Dr Filzah Nadiah binti Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Hamid - Professional Qualified Officer, Supreme Commander RBAF Scholarship Recipient 2016, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery
- 3016258 Officer Cadet Muhammad Zaffrul Qayyum bin Rashidi - International Officer Cadet from Malaysia
In the upcoming months, the Officer Cadets will undergo and continue their training which tests their physical and mental endurance on the next phase. High standard and leadership ability are demanded from the officer cadets with the spectrum of subject matter varying from militarization and manage oneself and eventually managing a team.
