DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES KHATAM AL-QURAN FOR RBAF 56TH ANNIVERSARY
KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 5 June 2017 - Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony to mark the RBAF’s 56th anniversary.

KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday 18 April 2017 – Colonel Untung Budihartono Deputy Assistance for Operation to Indonesian Army paid a courtesy call today to the Commandant of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Colonel Saiful-Akhmar bin Hj Mohd Shariff accompanied by senior Officers from Indonesian Army as part of their working visit program with Royal Brunei Armed Forces bilateral training meeting. He was welcomed by the senior officers of the Defence Academy.
LECTURE OF OPPORTUNITY BY PROFESSOR PAUL, MCGILL UNIVERSITY
KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Monday 10 APRIL 2017 - Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) via Command and Staff Course DA RBAF hosted Professor Thazha Varkey Paul, a professor from International Relations in the Department of Political Science, McGill University to present a topic on “Is Peaceful Accommodation Of Rising Powers Possible?” at the DA RBAF Auditorium here at Kg Tanah Jambu. The presentation was attended by the Commandant of DA RBAF as the the Guest Of Honour. Also present were officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The topic encompassed various aspects of possible changes which are likely to occur for rising powers such as China, Russia, India and Brazil, and perhaps others, are likely to emerge as contenders for global leadership roles.
DA RBAF SENIOR OFFICERS PROMOTED
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday 10 March 2017 - With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), the Royal Brunei Armed Forces announced that 18 officers have been consented to be promoted.

KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Thursday 19 January 2017 - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) commissioned the 15th Intake Officer Cadet which was held at the Parade Square, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) in Kampong Tanah Jambu.
THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 7TH COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE
KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Friday 13 January 2017 – The Opening Ceremony of the Command and Staff Course (CSC) 2017 was held at the Auditorium of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Kampong Tanah Jambu. Present to officiate the opening ceremony of the course was the Commander of RBAF, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah.
