INAUGURAL SOUTH EAST ASIA FAREWELL DINNER CONFERENCE OF COMMANDANTS

– Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces organised a farewell dinner
for the Inaugural South East Asia Conference of Commandants that marks
the end of the two days event which started on 7 March 2023. Present as
the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan
Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Armed
Forces.
THE OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY OF THE INAUGURAL SOUTH EAST ASIA CONFERENCE OF COMMANDANTS 2023
TANAH JAMBU, 7 March 2023 –
Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces held the Opening Ceremony of
the Inaugural South East Asia Conference of Commandants with the theme
‘Professional Military Education in the 21st Century’ at the Auditorium,
Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) today. Present as
the Guest of Honour to officiate the opening ceremony was Yang Mulia
Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka
Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force. Also present
were deputy service commanders, military and civilian directors,
Defence Attaches/Advisors, representatives from Universiti Brunei
Darussalam and RBAF officers.
THE INAUGURAL SOUTH EAST ASIA WELCOMING RECEPTION FOR CONFERENCE OF COMMANDANTS
RIZQUN, GADONG Monday, 06 March 2023
– Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces organised welcoming
reception for the First Inaugural South East Asia Conference of
Commandants. Present as the guest of honor was Colonel Pengiran
Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yussof.
INTAKE 22 PERSONAL WEAPON HANDOVER CEREMONY
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 02 March 2023 – The Officer Cadet School (OCS) held a Handover Ceremony
of Personal Weapon for Intake 22 at Officer Cadet School Headquarters
(OCS HQ). The objective of the event was to officially distribute
personal weapons and to instill sense of responsibility to each of
POCdts. Present as the Guest of Honour was 768 Lt Col Pg Siti
Khatamalzariah binti Pg Haji Kamaludin, the Commanding Officer of OCS.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by
Ustaz Abdul Nasir Saufi bin Hassan, Academy’s Religious Teacher.
Followed by the handing over of POCdts’ Intake 22 personal weapon.
COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE 13/2023 JOIN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM’S 39TH NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 23 February 2023
– Command & Staff Course (CSC) 13/2023 Participants had the
opportunity to celebrate Brunei’s 39th National Day. The day before the
event, Brunei National Anthem was played at the CSC lecture room
followed by sharing from local course participant, Major (U) Muhammad
Nur Aidi bin Haji Abdul Razak on the significance and facts of Brunei
National Day. Brunei declared independence on 1st January 1984 and the
date for National Day was set as 23 February 1984.
DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES CELEBRATES ISRA’ AND MI’RAJ 1444H CEREMONY
TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 21 February 2023
– In conjunction with the Isra’ Mi’raj 1444H celebration, Defence
Academy RBAF held a religious event at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Defence
Academy RBAF this afternoon. The theme of this year’s Isra’ Mi’raj
celebration is “Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi
Ujian: Sembahyang Meraih Redha Allah”.
