UN OCHA AND RHCC DELIVER LECTURES TO CSC 9
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 05 September 2019 – Students and members of the Command and Staff College had the distinct opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge from two guest lecturers on civil and military coordination for humanitarian and disaster relief operations (HADR). Mr. Nidhirat Srisirirojanakorn from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) in Bangkok, Thailand and Lieutenant Colonel Ho Wan Huo of the Singaporean Army from the Changi Regional Humanitarian Coordination Centre (RHCC) in Singapore delivered a three-day lecture to the 9th Cohort of the Command and Staff College.

TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 4 September 2019 – Representatives, Mr Nidhirat Srisirirojanakorn from United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Lieutenant Colonel Ho Wan Huo from Changi Regional Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Coordination Centre to deliver lectures to the 9th Command and Staff Course (CSC 9) on Operational Planning as part of their three days programme at the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). They were received at Ceremonial Hall for lunch and was welcomed by Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commandant of DA RBAF. Also welcomed them were the senior officers of the Defence Academy
GRATITUDES IN WELCOMING A BLISSFUL MAAL HIJRAH
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Sunday 31 August 2019- To signify and welcome a new year on the Islamic calendar, mosque and surau across the nation held a mass prayers to enliven the eve of the Islamic new year. Surau Asy-Syuhada of the Defence Academy RBAF (DA RBAF) also held its mass prayers of Maghrib, Isya’, Solat Sunat Hajat and a special prayer inclusive of the recital of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil to mark and warmly welcome the new Islamic year of 1st Muharram 1441 Hijrah.
DEPUTY CHIEF OF ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY VISIT TO DA RBAF
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 29 August 2019 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) received a visit from the delegation of Royal Australian Navy led by Rear Admiral Mark Hammond, Deputy Chief of Royal Australian Navy as part of their working visit to Brunei Darussalam.

MALAYSIAN PEACEKEEPING CENTRE DELIVERS LECTURE TO CSC 9
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 22 August 2019 – The 9th Command and Staff Course (CSC 9) received representatives from the Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre (MPC) to deliver lessons on “United Nations (UN) Peacekeeping Operations” at the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The three-day workshop began on 20 August 2019, and was conducted by the MPC Chief Instructor, Lieutenant Colonel Sukiman bin Mohamed Ghani, and two instructors Major Haizal bin Mohamed Ariffin, and Major Mohd Noor Izam bin Abd Rahim. They were warmly welcomed by the Commandant of DA RBAF, Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan.
