TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 24 May 2021 – Muslims throughout the country today performed the National Sunat Hajat Prayer and recitation of Doa Qunut Nazilah to seek protection and security for the people and nation of Palestine. This includes the Defence Academy of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) which also held the Prayer at Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Kg. Tanah Jambu.Present at the event was the Acting Commandant, Lt Col (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present were Defence Academy Senior Officers, Officers, 11th Command and Staff Course participants, Intake 20 Male Officer Cadets and other military personnel.
The event commenced with mass Maghrib prayer followed by Sunnat Hajat Prayer led by Awang Abdul Nasir Saufi bin Hassan, Defence Academy Religious Teacher.
The event continued with the recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil and concluded with mass ‘Isya prayer with Doa Qunut Nazilah at the end of rakaat.
