TANAH JAMBU, 26 September 2022 – A total of 55 officers from GKS CSC, Republic of Singapore paid a visit to Defence Academy RBAF (DA RBAF) this morning as part of three-day visit in Brunei Darussalam from 26-28 September 2022.
Upon arrival at the DA RBAF, the GKS CSC delegation led by Colonel Quek Seoh Hiong, Course Commander for the 53rd GKS CSC and Senior Directing Staff (Air Force) was welcomed by the Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, Commandant DA RBAF.
The visit commenced with recitation of surah Al-Fatihah and welcoming remarks by the Commandant of DA RBAF. In his remarks, he highlighted the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the Singapore Armed Forces have interacted regularly through various platforms of cooperation, notably in exchanges of visits, training and courses. These interactions have indeed resulted in close professional bilateral relations and camaraderie between both Armed Forces.
The event proceeded with the briefing by the Directorate of Intelligence, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies and Directorate of Defence Policy and concluded with question and answer and presentation of mementos.
