UNITED KINGDOM, Thursday, 15 December 2022 – Officer Cadet (L) Abdul ‘Aziz @Muhd Daud Al- Muktafi bin Hj Mohd Rafee has completed the Initial Naval Training (Officer) (Int (O)) Course at the Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) Dartmouth, United Kingdom on 15 December 2022.

Among the 27 International Cadet Officers who have attended the course since 06 September 2021, Officer Cadet (L) Abdul ‘Aziz has been awarded the Best International Cadet for 2022, Winter Passout. He has met the required standards where he achieved an excellent overall academic performance and the Best Performing International Cadet in the Basic Leadership Assessment Exercise (ABLE) & Maritime Leadership Assessment Exercise (MARL). In addition, he has also been awarded the Physical Training Superior during the Militarisation phase and was also nominated as the Sword of Honour for the Officer Cadet Course.

BRNC is the naval academy of the United Kingdom and the initial officer training establishment of the Royal Navy. The Initial Naval Training (Officer) (Int (O)) is a 30 week course that provides comprehensive induction into Naval life as an Officer. It is a demanding course that challenge both mental and physical resolve, as well as an enduring leadership training. Such course also further support to Defence Diplomacy outputs through the training of International Officers.
