Rimba Air Base, Wednesday, 7th April 2021 – Today, Command and Staff Course (CSC) 11/2021 participants paid a visit to the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at Rimba Air Base. Lieutenant Colonel Mohamad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Haji Puasa, Senior Directing Staff of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Defence Academy (DA RBAF), led the delegation.
Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Hasrul Ariffin bin Pg Hj Rosley, Chief of Staff RBAirF, welcomed the course participants at the Alap-Alap Briefing Room, RBAirF Headquarters. Also in attendance was the Deputy Commander of the RBAirF. The session started off with the showing of the RBAirF corporate video. It was then followed by a presentation from the RBAirF Commander, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Hj Ibrahim. His presentation was centered on the Future of the Airforce and its challenges. The briefing was then followed by a photo session and presentation of the CSC Plaque to the RBAirF Commander.
The second part of the visit was the static display at the Air Movement Centre, where the cohort were showed and briefed on the units and assets of the RBAirF such as the Blackhawk and Bolkow Helicopters and the Mistral firing unit. The visit then concluded with some light refreshments.
