TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 06 January 2023 - In conjunction with DA RBAF’s 12th Anniversary and in appreciation of the Defence Academy Officers that have been posted out as well as those that are posted in, a Dinner Night was held at the Brunei Hotel.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Yusof, the Commandant of DA RBAF. In attendance were Deputy Commandant of DA RBAF, Senior Officers, Officers and Academy Sergeant Major of DA RBAF as well as the celebrated officers.
The event commenced with the recitation of Doa and followed by the dinner. The occasion then proceeded with a video highlighting the various activities and memories of the officers that have been posted out as well as celebrating those that have posted in. This was followed by speeches delivered by representatives from each unit in DA RBAF as an appreciation to the contributions made by the departing officers. The Commandant then delivered his own speech where he expressed gratitude to all the posted-out officers for their dedication in carrying out task and responsibilities that has helped DA RBAF overcome various challenges and attained a number of achievements over the years. He then proceeded to welcome the new DA RBAF officers and expressed his excitement in working together, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and cohesiveness amongst the officers.
The event concluded with a presentation of memento to all the posted-out officers and a group photo session.
