RIZQUN, GADONG Monday, 06 March 2023 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces organised welcoming reception for the First Inaugural South East Asia Conference of Commandants. Present as the guest of honor was Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yussof.
The welcoming reception marks the start of the South East Asia Conference of Commandants which will be held on the 7Th of March 2023. This conference offers a unique forum in which allies and partners from across a wide and diverse collection of academic and education institutions can come together to discuss contemporary and future issues that are affecting the world.
The event started with the welcoming drinks with the guest of honor, followed by the photo session and recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah to bless the evening. The welcoming speech by the Guest of honour was delivered after dinner. He emphasized on the importance of having this conference to enhance relationships, encourage partnerships and discuss shared visions within nation. The interaction among attendees at the Conference is key to its success.
