TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 21 August 2023 – Command & Staff Course Cohort 13 (CSC13/2023) had the honor of hosting the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces for a senior leadership dialogue session to offer valuable insights from the Commander’s extensive experience and wisdom.
The discussion revolved around the importance of values-driven leadership under challenging situations, emphasizing the crucial role that core values play in decision-making during crises. Through sharing personal experiences and strategic insights, the RBAF Commander motivated the cohort to embrace a mindset of resilience and determination.
This dialogue equipped the cohort with essential tools to navigate adversity and empowered them to cultivate resilience as leaders who can thrive in the face of challenges. The profound insights shared by the RBAF Commander opened up new avenues for exploring the potential of values-driven leadership. This opportunity encourages the cohort to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, inspiration, and empowerment, transcending conventional leadership boundaries and uniting leaders from diverse backgrounds to pursue excellence.
In addition, the RBAF Commander emphasized the significance of leaders providing their subordinates with the required level of preparedness. Despite the possibility of a generational shift, it is noted that the fundamental values of leadership remain constant. What changes is the application of these values in a constantly evolving environment.
