TANAH JAMBU, Sunday, 30 March 2025 - To celebrate the end of Ramadan and welcome the new month of Syawal, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) celebrated the evening with Takbir Raya ceremony at Surau Asy-Syuhada, DA RBAF, Tanah Jambu.
Present to grace the event was Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, the Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present at the ceremony were Senior Officers, Officers, Personnel of DA RBAF, Command & Staff Course (CSC) 15 Participants and Officer Cadets of Intake 24.
The ceremony began with a mass Isya' prayer, followed Tazkirah delivered by Ustaz Abdul Nasir Saufi bin Hassan on the meaning of Takbir Hari Raya and how it unites the ummah all around the world. All the attendees then began to recite the Takbir starting with the Commandant who led the takbir, followed by representatives from CSC 15, DA RBAF personnel and Officer Cadet of Intake 24.
The event then concluded with Selawat and Closing Doa. The event marks the completion of a month-long fast and the expression of gratitude and joy to Allah SWT for the blessings and opportunities received throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
