TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 31 March 2025 - Muslims throughout the country today ushered in Hari Raya Aidil Fitri with mass prayers held at mosques and suraus nationwide including suraus at the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). For DA RBAF personnel, the Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Prayers was held at Surau Asy-Syuhada, DA RBAF, Tanah Jambu.
Present as the guest of honour was the the Commandant of DA RBAF, Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Hj Yusof. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers, Personnel, Command Staff Course 15 Participants, Officer Cadets of Intake 24 as well their family members.
The ceremony began with the Hari Raya Takbir followed by the Aidilfitri Prayers and sermon delivered by Ustaz Mohamamad Fahmi bin Haji Matnoor from the Religious Directorate (JAMAAT). The event ended with the congregants proceeded with a group photo.
The morning prayers was held to mark the month of Syawal - a festive occasion celebrated by Muslims in prayers, gatherings and feasts. It is also a time to seek forgiveness from families and friends.
