TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 26 September 2023 – Rear Admiral d’ANDIGNE serves as the Joint Commander of the Armed Forces in French Polynesia, Commander of the Pacific Experimental Center, Commander of the Pacific Ocean and French Polynesian Maritime Zones, and Commander of the French Polynesia Defense Base. During his visit, he delivered a comprehensive discussion on the Actions of the French Armed Forces in the Pacific region.
Throughout the session, Rear Admiral d’ANDIGNE provided a highly informative and insightful overview of various topics related to French military operations and strategies in the Pacific region. These discussions encompassed a wide range of critical issues, including the South China Sea dispute, North China Sea matters, drug enforcement efforts, and the issue of Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) fishing.
The presence of Rear Admiral Geoffroy d’ANDIGNE and his expertise added tremendous value to the discourse, enriching the knowledge and understanding of the CSC 13 course participants. Also, in attendance was His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Negara Brunei Darussalam, France Defence Attache in Republic of Singapore Accredited to Negara Brunei Darussalam, Commandant DA RBAF, Deputy Commandant DA RBAF, Head CSC, and Senior Officers of DA RBAF.
