TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 20 March 2026 – The Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DARBAF) held a Takbir ceremony in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Tanah Jambu this evening, to mark the conclusion of Ramadan and welcome the arrival of the month of Syawal 1447 Hijrah.
The ceremony was attended by the Commandant of DA RBAF, Colonel (Udara) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, along with members of the DA RBAF Executive Committee, senior officers, officers, personnel and participants of the Staff and Command Course 16/2026.
The event commenced with the congregational Fardhu Isyak prayer, followed by a tazkirah highlighting the significance of the Takbir Hari Raya and its role in uniting Muslims worldwide, delivered by Yang Mulia Pengiran Khairuddin bin Pengiran Muhd Yussof, Imam of Surau Asy-Syuhada. The ceremony continued with Takbir Hari Raya and zikir, and concluded with the Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam.
