BRUNEI MUARA, Thursday, 07 October 2021 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) participated in the opening ceremony for Dikir Maulud 1443 Hijrah by the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) via video teleconference in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration.
Present as the guest of honour for the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi Bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister Of Defence II. Also present was Commander of RBAF, Permanent Secretary, Services Commanders, Joint Force Commander, Senior Officers, Officers and RBAF personnel.
The Dikir Maulud commenced with the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and the recital of Surah Nabawiyah followed by Dikir Syarafil Anam and Dikir Marhaban. The ceremony concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan & Negara Brunei Darussalam, Surah Al-'Asr, Tasbih Kaffarah & Doa Kedua Ibu Bapa.
The Dikir Maulud will be held continuously for 12 nights at all RBAF suraus via video teleconference.
