TEMBURONG, FRIDAY, 01 March 2024 - Defence Academy participated in the cleaning campaign organised by the Ministry of Defence this morning in the Temburong District. The cleaning campaign was conducted at Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar
Kampong Bokok Mosque led by the Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, the Commandant of Defence Academy.
Also present were the village head of Kampong Bokok, members of the Mosque Takmir Committee, villagers, Civilian members of Ministry of Defence and Defence Academy personnel.
The campaign began with a Friday Halaqah, recital of Surah Yasin followed by a tazkirah titled “Cleanliness is a Requirement”. After the halaqah, a safety briefing was given followed by the cleaning campaign activity where DA RBAF successfully accumulated 232 kilograms of waste.
The campaign aims to demonstrate a positive influence an instill a sense of responsibility within the community towards maintaining cleanliness in villages a surrounding area. It also seeks to promote unity among community members in addressing environmental issues.
