TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 28 May 2026 - Muslims throughout the country today celebrated Hari Raya Aidildha with mass prayers held at mosques and Suraus nationwide including all Surau in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) garrisons, camps and bases. For Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), the Aidiladha Prayer was held at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Kampung Tanah Jambu.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present were Senior Officers, personnel of DA RBAF, course participants from Command and Staff College 16/2026 and Officer Cadets of Intake 25.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Takbir Hari Raya followed by mass Sunat Aidiladha Prayer and a Hari Raya sermon delivered by Sergeant Abdul Baar bin Sijun from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Religious Directorate (JAMA'AT).
