TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 27 May 2026 – In conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha 1447 Hijrah, the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a Malam Takbir ceremony at Surau Asy-Syuhada, DA RBAF, Kampong Tanah Jambu.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel of DA RBAF, course participants of Command and Staff College 16/2026, as well as Officer Cadets of Intake 25.
The ceremony commenced with the mass Fardhu Isyak prayer, followed by the recitation of Takbir Hari Raya, Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah. The event continued with a Tazkirah titled “Takbir Mengiringi Keimanan”, followed by Zikir Malam Hari Raya and selected doa.
The annual religious event served to enliven the celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha while strengthening faith, gratitude and unity among DA RBAF personnel and course participants.
