TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 05 July 2024 – A closing ceremony was held at the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) for the Turkish Language Course conducted by the Brunei Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre and jointly organised by the Ministry of Defence and the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Brunei Darussalam on Friday afternoon.
Present at the closing ceremony were Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; His Excellency Professor Dr. Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Brunei Darussalam; Madam Lale Ersoy, the Coordinator for Brunei Darussalam at the Brunei Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre and spouse of His Excellency Professor Dr. Hamit Ersoy; Services Commanders; Acting Joint Force Commander, Directors; senior officers; and course participants.
The event began with a recital of
do'a followed by a speech from His Excellency Professor Dr. Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Brunei Darussalam. In his speech, His Excellency Professor Dr. Hamit Ersoy highlighted that the language course has built a significant foundation for further cooperation and exchange between the Republic of Türkiye and Brunei Darussalam. The event also witnessed a certificate presentation to 11 course participants from the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces as well as an exchange of mementoes.
Beginning on 6 February, participants learned the Turkish language through various activities such as bi-weekly language classes and film screenings at the embassy before completing the course with oral examinations on 13 June. Taught by Madam Lale Ersoy, she shared her pleasure in the progress of activities and collaborations and highlighted that the event was particularly meaningful to the Yunus Emre Institute, given its second time the Turkish Language Course was taught to government officials in Brunei Darussalam.
The closing ceremony culminated with light conversations across languages while enjoying local and Turkish delicacies at the Library Lounge, DA RBAF.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS BAHASA TURKIYE DARIPADA BRUNEI YUNUS EMRE TURKISH CULTURAL CENTRE
TANAH JAMBU, Jumaat, 05 Julai 2024 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Bahasa Türkiye daripada Brunei Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre telah diadakan di Akademi Pertahanan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei pada hari ini. Kursus tersebut telah dianjurkan bersama Kementerian Pertahanan dan Kedutaan Republik Türkiye di Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Turut hadir di Majlis Penutup Kursus Bahasa Türkiye ialah Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei; Tuan Yang Terutama Profesor Dr. Hamit Ersoy, Duta Istimewa dan Mutlak Republik Türkiye ke Brunei Darussalam; Puan Lale Ersoy, Pengajar Bahasa Türkiye daripada Brunei Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre dan isteri kepada Tuan Yang Terutama Profesor Dr. Hamit Ersoy; Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera; Pemangku Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama, Pengarah-Pengarah; pegawai-pegawai kanan; dan peserta kursus.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan do'a dan ucapan daripada Tuan Yang Terutama Profesor Dr. Hamit Ersoy, Duta Istimewa dan Mutlak Republik Türkiye ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Semasa ucapan beliau, Tuan Yang Terutama menekankan bahawa kursus ini adalah sangat penting dalam sama-sama membina kerjasama diantara Republik Türkiye dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. Penyampaian sijil telahpun disampaikan kepada 11 peserta kursus daripada Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei sebelum mengakhiri majlis dengan pertukaran cenderahati.
Bermula dari 6 Februari yang lalu, peserta Kursus Bahasa Türkiye telah melaksanakan pembelajaran bahasa selama empat bulan melalui pelbagai aktiviti seperti kelas bahasa dan tayangan filem di Kedutaan Republik Türkiye di Negara Brunei Darussalam sebelum mengakhiri kursus tersebut dengan ujian lisan pada 13 Jun 2024. Puan Lale Ersoy turut mengongsikan kegembiraannya dengan kemajuan aktiviti-aktiviti dan kerjasama yang telah dilaksanakan sebelum ini dan menekankan bahawa ianya sangat bermakna kepada Yunus Emre Institute memandangkan kursus tersebut merupakan kali kedua ianya dianjurkan kepada kakitangan kerajaan di Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Sejak setahun kebelakangan, Yunus Emre Institute telahpun mengadakan beberapa aktiviti bersama institusi di Negara Brunei Darussalam melalui kursus bahasa, tayangan filem, dan rancangan masakan Türkiye di Radio Television Brunei.
