ANGGEREK, Monday, 26 January 2026 –Defence Academy RBAF personnel participated in the Basic Food Safety Course for Food Handlers, organised by the Brunei Darussalam Food Authority (BDFA), held in Anggerek Desa Technology Park.
The course was attended by Staff Officer 3 Logistics, Quartermaster Officer, Deputy Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant, In-Charge Ration personnel, and Company Quartermaster Sergeant. Their participation reflects the Academy’s continued commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism in food handling operations.
The training enhanced participants’ knowledge and competencies in safe food handling, ensuring compliance with established food safety regulations and standards. It emphasised proper food preparation, storage, and serving practices to maintain hygiene throughout all stages of food management, while strengthening monitoring effectiveness, reducing contamination risks, and supporting the safety and wellbeing of personnel. The course also ensured the Academy’s readiness to meet food safety and hygiene audit requirements.
