TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 23 April 2021 – The Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat made a visit to Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Defence Academy RBAF in conjunction with the celebration of the month of Ramadhan. Also present Lt Col (U)
Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Acting Commandant of Defence Academy RBAF, Senior Officers,
11th Command and Staff College participants, Intake 20 Officer Cadets and other military personnel.
The event commenced with a mass Isya’ prayer followed by Taraweh and Witr Prayer. The event preceded with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Tadarus Al-Qur’an led by Imam Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Mohd Khairol Azmi bin Haji Salleh, followed by the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam. The event then concluded with light refreshments.
This visit is the first of five planned visits that will be done throughout the month of Ramadhan by the Commander of RBAF and entourage as part of their Ihya Ramadhan Program to Surau in RBAF camps to enliven this blessed month.
