Tanah Jambu, Friday, 10 December 2021 – The outgoing Chief Clerk of Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) Headquarters, 15054 Warrant Officer 2 Muhammad Alisahrin bin Haji Tahir, and outgoing Imam of Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Awg. Mohammad Khairol Azmi bin Hj Salleh, were honoured with a farewell ceremony at the DA RBAF’s Ceremonial Hall.
 
In attendance, were the Acting Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and Staffs of the DA RBAF.
 
During the event, the Acting Commandant expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to both outgoing personnel for their significant contributions and commitment throughout their service at the academy and wished them both the best of luck in their future endeavours.
 
The Acting Commandant then handed a donation extended from members of the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces to DA RBAF civilian staff, Dyg. Suriani binti Abdullah, who was a victim of a recent flash flood.
 
The ceremony then concluded with the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran by the Defence Academy’s Religious Teacher, Ustaz Abdul Nasir bin Hassan. 
 
15054 Warrant Officer 2 Muhammad Alisahrin bin Haji Tahir has served in the academy since 2010 and will be assigned to Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force. Meanwhile, Imam Mohammad Khairol Azmi bin Hj Salleh has been the Imam of Surau Asy-Syuhada’ DA RBAF since 2018 and currently has been assigned as Imam of Surau Ad-Difa at Bolkiah Garrison.
