CENTREPOINT, GADONG, Wednesday, 08 March 2023 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces organised a farewell dinner for the Inaugural South East Asia Conference of Commandants that marks the end of the two days event which started on 7 March 2023. Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the dinner and video clips of the participants and the conference.
The event then commenced with a speech delivered by Major General Andrew Roe, Commandant Defence Academy United Kingdom, who is also Co-Host of the Inaugural Southeast Asia Conference of Commandants. In his speech, he conveyed his gratitude towards the participating institutions as well as the workforce behind the success of this year’s conference.
The farewell dinner concluded with an exchange of gifts between the Commandant of Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the respective Heads of Delegations.
