TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 03 May 2021 – The Defence Academy of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony to mark the end of Ihya Ramadhan Programme for the year 1442H at Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Kg. Tanah Jambu.
Present at the event was the Acting Commandant, Lt Col (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present were Defence Academy Senior Officers, Officers, 11th Command and Staff College and participants, Intake 20 Officer Cadets and other military personnel.
The event commenced after performing the mass Zohor prayer with the recitation of Surah Ad-Dhuha until Surah An-Nas, followed by Takhtim and Doa Khatam Al-Quran. The event then preceded with Dikir Marhaban, the presentation of Bunga Telur and concluded with and Doa Peliharakan Sultan Dan Negara Brunei Darussalam’ led by Mohd Khairol Azmi bin Haji Salleh, Imam Surau Asy-Syuhada’.
