BRUNEI MUARA, Wednesday, 05 April 2023 – Islam places a great demands on personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness, particularly in places of worship such as mosques and religious halls, as the mosque is considered as a designated place to perform prayers as well as a centre of activity for the Muslim community.
In conjunction with the Ihya Ramadhan Programme 1444H/2023M, a total of 20 personnel from Defence Academy RBAF took part in a cleaning campaign which was held at Masjid Perpindahan Kampong Serasa. The activity started with a cleaning campaign that included the interior and exterior of the masjid and concluded with sembahyang zuhur in congregation.
The campaign was carried out to spruce, clean and improve the appearance and surroundings, as well as the interior of the mosque fostering a charitable attitude and giving back to the community and work together towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
