SINGAPORE, Friday, 21 October 2022 – The officer cadets of Intake 21, Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) have successfully completed their Urban Operation Training Package (UOTP) with the 127/22 Infantry Officer Cadet Course of Officer Cadet School Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute Military Institute (OCS SAFTI MI) which was conducted from 30 September to 21 October 2022 in the Republic of Singapore.
The officer cadet intake 21 had the opportunity to conduct EXERCISE COYOTE in which the Officer Cadet practiced command, leadership and management and showcased their planning and execution of the platoon manoeuver, assaults and defence in the cluster of buildings in built-up areas. Among the highlighted programme, Midshipmen of Intake 21 had the opportunity to visit the Changi Naval Base (CNB), Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), whereas, Air Force Officer Cadets of Intake 21 visited the Republic of Singapore Air Force Air Force Training Command (RSAF AFTC).
This platform serves to enhance and strengthen our close military engagement at a preliminary level and utilise their purpose to be an officer as representatives of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
