TANAH JAMBU, 10 January 2022 – A promotion ceremony for Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) personnel was held at the Ceremonial Hall, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Haji Yusof, Commandant of the DA RBAF. Also present at the event were Senior Officers, Officers and other personnel of the DA RBAF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the rank presentation by the guest of honour. A total of 11 DA RBAF personnel have been promoted, 4 personnel were promoted to Substantive Sergeant, 1 personnel promoted to Acting Sargeant, 1 personnel promoted to Substantive Corporal, 3 personnel were promoted to Acting Corporal and 2 personnel were promoted to Acting Lance Corporal.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat and a photo session. The ceremony was conducted in accordance with the guidelines from the Ministry of Health to control the spread of the COVID-19 in Brunei Darussalam.
