MALAYSIAN ARMED FORCES DEFENCE COLLEGE VISIT TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 22 July 2022 – A total of 86 officers from the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MAFDC) Course serial 42/2022 paid a visit to Brunei Darussalam this morning.

Upon arrival at the DA RBAF, the MAFDC delegation led by First Admiral Badarudin bin Taha, RMN, Commandant of MAFDC was welcomed by Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Haji Yusof, Commandant DA RBAF. Upon arrival, a courtesy call was held between Yang Mulia Haji Adi Ihram bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Strategy) and Commandant MAFDC with the present of Acting Director of Defence Policy, Ministry of Defence.

Lunch was also being held at the Ceremonial Hall DA RBAF to welcome the delegation and one of the invited guests present was Yang Mulia Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, RBAF Joint Force Commander, who is an alumni of MAFDC.

During the visit, the MAFDC delegation was given a brief by the representatives from the Directorate of Intelligence on 'Organisational Structure – The Ministry of Defence and RBAF', the Directorate of Defence Policy on 'Defence White Paper 2021' and SHHBIDSS with the title 'Regional Security Outlook' with each session end up with a discussion.

The MAFDC was in Brunei Darussalam for a one-day visit, which was hosted by DA RBAF and SHHBIDSS. The visit is part of MAFDC Course serial 42/2022 on In Country Field Study Visit to Borneo, which started from 18 July 2022 until 24 July 2022, and included visits to Sabah and Sarawak.


 

 

 

 

LAWATAN ROMBONGAN MAKTAB PERTAHANAN ANGKATAN TENTERA MALAYSIA KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

TANAH JAMBU, Jumaat, 22 Julai 2022 – Seramai 86 orang daripada kursus Maktab Pertahanan Angkatan Tentera (MPAT) Malaysia sesi 42/2022 telah membuat lawatan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam pada pagi ini.

Ketibaan rombongan MPAT yang diketuai oleh Laksamana Pertama Badarudin bin Taha, Komandan MPAT ke AP ABDB telah disambut oleh Kolonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Haji Yusof, Komandan AP ABDB. Sejurus ketibaan, kunjungan hormat telah diadakan diantara Yang Mulia Haji Adi Ihram bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Strategi) dan Komandan MPAT yang turut dihadiri oleh Pemangku Pengarah Dasar Pertahanan, Kementerian Pertahanan.

Dikesempatan itu juga, jamuan makan tengahari turut diadakan bertempat di Dewan Istiadat AP ABDB bagi meraikan rombongan MPAT. Antara yang diundang bagi menghadiri acara tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB yang merupakan alumni MPAT.

Seterusnya, rombongan MPAT telah mengikuti taklimat yang disampaikan oleh wakil daripada Jabatanarah Perisikan bertajuk 'Organisational Structure – The Ministry of Defence and RBAF', Jabatanarah Dasar Pertahanan dengan tajuk 'Defence White Paper 2021' dan IPP&SSHHB bertajuk 'Regional Security Outlook' serta diakhiri dengan sesi soal jawab bagi setiap sesi.

Keberadaan rombongan MPAT Malaysia di Negara Brunei Darussalam selama sehari ini telah dihoskan secara bersama oleh AP ABDB dan IPP&SSHHB. Lawatan ini merupakan sebahagian daripada keperluan kursus iaitu In Country Field Study Visit ke Borneo termasuk Sabah dan Sarawak yang telah bermula dari 18 Julai 2022 hingg 24 Julai 2022.​
