TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 25 November 2023 – In conjunction with DA RBAF’s 13th Anniversary and in appreciation of the Defence Academy Officers that have been posted out as well as those that are posted in, a Regimental Dinner Night was at the Ceremonial Hall.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Yusof, the Commandant of DA RBAF. In attendance were Deputy Commandant of DA RBAF, Senior Officers, Officers and Academy Sergeant Major of DA RBAF as well as the celebrated officers.
The event commenced with a group photo session of officers and their spouses, followed by the evening reception. The ceremony then continued with recital of doa, dinner followed by speeches delivered by representatives from each unit in DA RBAF as an appreciation to the contributions made by the the outgoing officers. Liutenant Colonel Peter bin Ulat as the former Chief Instructor, Major Ernie Ermawati as the former Deputy Chief Instructor, Captain Md Azmi bin Latif as the former Training Officer and Captain (U) Md Shah Redzuan as a Platoon Commmander in Officer Cadet School.
The Commandant then delivered his own speech where he expressed gratitude to the outgoing officers for their dedication in carrying out task and responsibilities that has helped DA RBAF overcome various challenges and attained a number of achievements over the years. In the speech the Commandant also took the opportunity to welcome the officers that were posted to DA RBAF, Commandant also emphasized on the crucial role of spouses in the success of our officers and organization.
The event then concluded with the presentation of momentos followed by a closing doa and an orchestral performance by RBAF band led by the Lieutenant Colonel (U) Peter bin Ulat, Director of Directorate of Force Capability Development.
