BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 22 November 2024 – In celebration of DA RBAF’s 14th Anniversary and to honour outgoing and incoming Defence Academy officers, a Dine In and Dine Out Dinner was held at The Brunei Hotel.
Present as Guest of Honour was Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Yusof, Commandant of DA RBAF, along with the Deputy Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers, Academy Sergeant Major, and the celebrated officers.
The evening began with a group photo, followed by a reception, doa recital, dinner, and speeches thanking the outgoing officers for their contributions. Among those celebrated were Major Hj Hazimin bin Abdullah, former Second in Command of Officer Cadet School (OCS), Major Hj Mohammad Razif bin Haji Idros, Former Second in Command of OCS, Major Mohammad Raihan, Former Intake Commander of OCS , Lieutenant Commander Muhd Ridhwan bin Hj Ralif, RBN, Former Navy Platoon Commander, Captain Muhammad Fairuz bin Rosli, Former Officer Commanding of Admin Wing, Captain Nurhadziyah binti Haji Abdul Talib, Former Admin Officer of Leadership and Management Center (LMC) and Captain (U) Abdul Hadi bin Ariffin, former Adjutant of Defence Academy.
The event also warmly welcomed the newest members to the Defence Academy, among those are; Lieutenant Colonel Amirul Adly bin Haji Ali, The Deputy Commandant, Commander Eddy Joffren bin Pehin Dato Panglima Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, RBN, The Chief Instructor, Major Abdul Qahhar bin Haji Abdul Mulok, the Intake Commander of OCS, Lieutenant Commander Qurratuáini Qayyimah Dr. Haj Al-Zelzy, RBN, Academic Advisor, Captain Shazwani binti Ali, the Officer Commanding of the Admin Wing, Lieutenant Commander Haji Ahmad Ahdaa bin Haji Ahmad, RBN, Second In Command Intake Commander of OCS, Captain Hazirah binti Harun as Admin Officer of LMC and Lieutenant (U) Muhd Saifullah bin Matamit, Adjutant DA RBAF.
The Commandant then delivered his speech expressing his gratitude to the outgoing officers for their dedication in helping DA RBAF overcome challenges and achieve success. He also welcomed the newly posted officers.
The event then concluded with the presentation of momentos to the Posted Out Officers followed by a closing doa.
